iPLON conducted one day training program on “Smart Grid Concepts” at National Institute for Wind Energy, Chennai on 20th January 2015
Chennai, January 20 2015: DEG (Deutsche Investitions‐ und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH), a subsidiary of KFW, a German government-owned development bank in co-operation with iPLON GmbH conducted a one day training program on “Smart Grid Concepts”
The primary focus of the training was on the following topics:
- Renewable energy insights in Tamil Nadu and Germany
- Need for O&M of Solar Power plant with a LIVE demonstration of iPLON’s Remote Monitoring technology
- Grid stability issues and solutions
- Moving to a “Post carbon economy” with intelligent Smart Grid solution
The purpose of this training program is to build awareness, momentum and understanding of the above mentioned focus areas among the various stakeholders in the field of renewable Energy in Tamilnadu.
